Perfect Numbers
What is a perfect number?
Perfect numbers are numbers that are sum of their factors excluding itself or 1/2 (half) of the sum of all their factors including itself e.g. 6
(i) The factors of 6 excluding itself are 1,2,3 and adding the 3 we got 6
(ii) or add all the factors,we got 12; half of this will then be 6.
Other perfect numbers are 28,496 8128 etc.
There is an unsolved mathematical problem whether we can have an odd perfect number.
This is a million dollar problem. Can you get it?
